Bring truth to your performance, not just technique.
Helping artists trust their voice and presence, so every performance feels truly alive.
I’m MaryAnne ‘Mac’ McCormack – actor, singer & coach. I help performers unlock voices they can trust, accents that feel natural, and performances that land with emotional truth, so every moment feels alive, on stage, on screen, and in life.
Voice, accent, acting, and vocal performance coaching that brings together technique and truth — so your craft feels grounded, expressive, and real.
For over two decades, I’ve worked as both a performer and coach, training at NIDA, performing award-nominated roles on major stages, and coaching artists worldwide.
That blend of professional craft and lived experience is what makes this work different.
What I know for sure: your voice, presence, and emotional connection are the foundation of it all.
Now, I help performers like you rebuild those foundations, so you can bring your work to life with confidence and freedom, every time.

- Maybe your voice tightens when the stakes are high.
- The accent doesn’t quite sit.
- Or the technique is there, but the emotional connection feels shaky.
This isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about helping you integrate every part of your craft, so you can perform with freedom, groundedness, and presence.

Let’s unlock what’s underneath, and bring your performances to life.
Q&A
What’s your background as a coach for performers?
I trained in acting and voice at NIDA and built a career across theatre, television, and musical theatre — with multiple Helpmann and Green Room Award nominations.
Alongside my stage work, I’ve spent years performing live with The MAC Project band, and coaching artists across the world.
My coaching draws on voice pedagogy, acting craft, emotional connection, and mindset work, all brought together through The MAC Method™.
Whether you’re working on text, song, or story, the goal is the same: to find clarity, freedom, and truth in your voice.
Do you offer both singing and acting coaching?
Yes. I coach singer-actors, stage and screen performers, and emerging artists. We might work on vocal technique, song interpretation, scene work, monologue preparation, or emotional connection, always shaped around your craft and goals.
Can we work on accents or dialects for a role?
Definitely. I coach actors in dialects for both stage and screen — with a focus on RP (Received Pronunciation), Standard British, and General American. Whether you’re preparing for a specific character or refining your skill set for international work, we’ll tailor the accent coaching to suit your performance goals and voice.
I’ve had training, is this still for me?
Absolutely. Many of my clients are professionally trained but want to deepen their emotional connection, unlock vocal habits, or stretch creatively. I bring detailed technique and intuitive insight into the room, so the work feels both safe and expansive.
I’ve taken a break from performing, can I still jump back in?
Yes. Whether you’re returning after time away or shifting into a new phase creatively, we begin from wherever you are. This work meets you with professionalism and care, and helps you reconnect to your voice, presence, and power.
Can this coaching help with voiceover or public speaking too?
Yes, many performers also work in voiceover, narration, education, or public speaking. The vocal technique and presence-building we do together translates beautifully across all those mediums.
Reclaim your voice. Reset your foundation.
A five‑part clearing to strip away habits, tension, and unconscious patterns that hold your voice back, so your true sound can come through, carrying the depth of your lived experience.
